What once started with 6 grape vines planted in 1997 has now transpired into more than 2 acres of vineyards. The winery was added in the summer of 2005 and is available for small gatherings. The City of Holton purchased the Linscott Park property from the Linscott family in 1928. the property was the site of the Linscott family home- Buena Vista. The terms of the purchase was that no "private enterprise" be allowed in the park.
